My Story
My name is Krista Ziobrowski and I am a wife, mom and dog mom living in Upstate New York. I have always had a dream of running my own homebased business selling a product I loved. I have been in online marketing as a side hustle for a few years now and had some success, but have always struggled with focus and information overload.
In September of 2021, I was involved in a beauty company where I was not truly happy. One day while scrolling Facebook, I saw a lady changing the wax in one of her warmers. For some reason, I went to her bio and clicked her link. I landed on the scentsy site and started looking around. I love the name alone, "SCENTSY" so cute and fun to say! I was blown away with how beautiful the warmers were and how many fragrance options were available. I was also intrigued with all the body, cleaning and laundry products they had. What I loved most was how girly everything was.
After this, I went to YouTube and started following a few leaders in the company. I loved how kind, down-to-earth and genuine everyone was. Community in a company very important to me. Despite, loving what I was seeing, I was already in a business and was reluctant to make a change. Therefore, I spent the majority of October 2021 trying to talk myself out of being interested in Scentsy. In November of 2021, I got to a place in my beauty biz where I just wanted out for a variety of reasons. I was also getting bombarded with one business opportunity after another and getting very overwhelmed not knowing what to do. Halfway through November, I decided I was going to take a month off from marketing online and if I was still interested in Scentsy at Christmas that I would join.
Early in December of 2021, I got COVID and was out of work for 17 days. I was at home with very few distractions and really had time to soul search. I began looking at Scentsy again and that was when I discovered my sponsor, a young, adorable Super-Star Director from North Carolina. I subscribed to her YouTube channel and felt so inspired by her Scentsy story and how Scentsy changed her life. She was kind, but I also got the sense that she would push me, which was what I needed.
We spoke on the phone while I was still sick and we decided that I would become a customer first so I could experience some Scentsy products, and that I would become a Consultant on January 1, 2022. This filled me with hope and lifted my spirits and all I wanted to do was start feeling better. Scentsy products began showing up at my door and I was hooked. I love all of it and sharing it feels like the most natural thing in the world. Over time, I am sure my Scentsy story will evolve. However, right now, I am nothing more than totally excited to give it my all and have Scentsy change my life the way it changed my sponsor's life.
